Lind Street Ryde

Project: – Change of use and listed building consent of former grade 2 listed terraced properties in Lind Street, Ryde IW to school boarding accommodation for Ryde Private School

Description: – The project involved the conversion of 2No properties from an existing residence and former solicitor’s office to school boarding accommodation arranged over four floors. The change of use involved alterations to various internal doorways, formation of hallways and the careful sub division of bedrooms at first and second floor levels with introduction of new shower rooms, WC provision, House Keepers accommodation, shared common rooms, kitchen facilities with associated replacement windows, doors, partitions, ornate skirting’s, architraves and picture rails.

Service Provided: – Detailed survey, sketch plans, extensive liaison with the Local Authority Planning and conservation and design department leading to subsequent listed building, planning and building regulation approval.
