Bembridge Primory

Project: – Building Design Services were commissioned by Bembridge C of E Primary School to prepare a planning application for a proposed new outdoor play area for their foundation stage pupils.

Description: – The new play area was sited on a piece of land within the school grounds to the South of the campus measuring approx. 186m2. The area of land was positioned outside the foundation stage classroom and was currently vacant. This piece of land was previously used as an adventure playground until it was condemned on Health & Safety Grounds and subsequently taken out of use. The new facility provided an area for outdoor activity and learning in a safe, secure and stimulating environment enabling the school to meet the needs of the curriculum.

Service Provided: – Survey, sketch plans, planning application and full tender documentation.
